Kahlil Gibran (1887-1931) was a Lebanese-American poet, writer and artist who is the third best-selling poet of all time. His most celebrated work, The Prophet has sold more than 10 million copies in America alone and has been translated into over 100 languages. John Baldock is an experienced freelance editor and editorial consultant with an interest in the spiritual core of mainstream religions, including Judaeo-Christian-Islamic teachings.
