Professor Ir. Ts. Dr. Pau Loke SHOW is the Director of Sustainable Food Processing Research Centre and co-Director of the Future Food Malaysia, Beacon of Excellence, at the University of Nottingham Malaysia. He is a Full Professor at the Department of Chemical and Environmental Engineering, Faculty of Science and Engineering, University of Nottingham Malaysia. He has successful obtained his PhD in two years' time after he graduated from his bachelor's degree from Universiti Putra Malaysia. He is currently a Professional Engineer registered with the Board of Engineers Malaysia, Chartered Engineer of the Engineering Council UK and a Professional Technologist registered from the Malaysia Board of Technologists. Prof Ir. Ts. Dr. Show obtained his Post Graduate Certificate of Higher Education (PGCHE) in 2014, and is now a fellow of the Higher Education Academy UK. Since he started his academic career in 2012, he has received numerous prestigious domestic and international academic awards, including the ASPIRE Malaysia Award 2020, Nation Young Scientist 2019 Award, ASEAN-India Research and Training Fellowship 2019, The DaSilva Award 2018, JSPS Fellowship 2018, Top 100 Asian Scientists 2017, Asia's Rising Scientists Award 2017 and Winner of Young Researcher in IChemE Award 2016. Prof. Dr. Show is also listed in the Top 2% scientists in The Stanford List and has published more than 350 journal articles and book chapters. He is a renowned expert in bioprocessing and biomanufacturing technologies. Dr. Kit Wayne CHEW is currently a Lecturer at the School of Energy and Chemical Engineering, Xiamen University Malaysia. He is an associate member (AMIChemE) of the Institution of Chemical Engineers (IChemE). Dr. Chew's current field of research involves chemical engineering, biochemical engineering, optimization and bioprocess engineering design. He has conducted various researches in bioseparation processing, waste management, algal cultivation, and biofuel and bioproducts applications. He is the Winner for the Young Researcher of IChemE Global Awards 2020, Young Researcher for IChemE Malaysia Award 2020 and Rising Star Award 2019. Dr Chew has published more than 80 journal papers, book chapters and made several conference presentations. He has research collaborations with international renowned researchers in the field of bioprocessing from Taiwan, India, Japan and China. Professor Dr. Tau Chuan LING received his doctorate degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Birmingham, UK in 2002. He is a Chartered Engineer of the Engineering Council, United Kingdom (CEng) and fellow member of the Institution of Chemical Engineers (FIChemE). He has been serving as a Professor at the Institute of Biological Sciences, Faculty of Science, University of Malaya (UM) since 2011. Prof Dr. Ling is the Editor-in-Chief for the Current Biochemical Engineering journal and he has more than 15 years of research experience in the field of downstream processing and bio-process engineering. His current research mainly focuses on bioseparation, bioprocessing, green chemistry, and bioprospecting of microorganisms for useful biomolecules. Prof Dr. Ling has published more than 280 international peer-reviewed journals and presented more than 100 conference papers. He is listed in the UM Researchers Top 2% Scientists by Stanford University, and was awarded the Young Asian Biotechnologist Prize 2017 from The Society for Biotechnology, Japan. Prof Dr. Ling has served as a visiting professor for several universities including Nanjing Agricultural University, Tsinghua University, Xiamen University, Lund University, National Cheng Kung University, Canterbury University and Kobe University.
