The book is looking at those principles established by Cameroon, Chad, and Gabon to determine migrants' status and further, the legal standards enacted and accepted by the various States aimed at protecting migrants. To this effect, emphasis is laid on the determination and recognition of the legal status of migrants taking up residence in any of the contracting states by examining the various criteria for acquiring a legal status and how the contracting State determines such status. An examination of these standards will enable us have basic insight on the way the law protects those residing outside their countries of origin. An examination of the various mechanisms, criteria, methods, standard and advantages accruing from protecting migrants' rights, it will be necessary to see the extent to which Cameroon, Chad and Gabon have enforced these established standards. Analysis on the legal and institutional frameworks, these will be analyzes the various areas these States have complied with and enforced legal standards protecting these rights. Such enforcement and implementation cannot go without some difficulties and inconsistencies.
