Paul A. Montuori is a former speech and debate champion and a magna cum lade graduate of Boston College and Boston College Law School. A practicing attorney in both New York and Massachusetts Paul is the founder and principal of the Law Offices of Paul A. Montuori. Paul is a former law clerk to a United States Federal District Court Judge. Following his clerkship, Paul worked in the litigation department of a major international law firm where he practiced in the areas of commercial and criminal litigation and corporate compliance. Following this position, Paul founded his own firm based in New York. Since entering private practice, Paul's clients have ranged the spectrum from Fortune 500 companies, construction contractors, startups, Washington lobbyists and white collar criminal defendants. He has served on numerous committees of the American Bar Association and New York City Bar Association and has published on topics such as sentencing reform and innocent inmate compensation. Paul has represented parties before the United States Supreme Court and has argued before the New York Court of Appeals. Paul's varied professional and personal pursuits have taken him from the Royal Enclosure at Ascot to the cells of Riker's Island. Paul hopes that his fictional writing shows readers how the ordinary can often lead to the extraordinary.
