Burrall began his church service as a lay missionary with his wife, Kay, in India. He graduated from West Virginia University. His seminary training is from Hamma School of Theology, Wittenburg University. He has served churches in Ohio, Arizona, Texas, and Arkansas. He is pastor of Christ Lutheran Church, Hot Springs Village, Arkansas.
