A sensitive & selective RP-HPLC method has been developed & validated for the analysis of Ivabradine API. Further the proposed RP-HPLC method has excellent sensitivity, precision and reproducibility. The result shows the developed method is yet another suitable method for assay, purity which can help in the analysis of Ivabradine in different formulations. Satisfactory result was achieved with use of a mixture of Ammonium acetate buffer pH 6.0: Methanol (60:40 v/v) and symmetry C18 column (250×4.6mm, 5mim) was adopted for the analysis as it has provided a better elution of the analyte UV…mehr

Satisfactory result was achieved with use of a mixture of Ammonium acetate buffer pH 6.0: Methanol (60:40 v/v) and symmetry C18 column (250×4.6mm, 5mim) was adopted for the analysis as it has provided a better elution of the analyte UV detection was carried out at 282 nm. The retention time was found to be 3.459 minutes. The linearity study for Ivabradine was found in concentration range of 12-28mig/ml and correlation coefficient (r) was found to be 0.999. The % mean recovery was found to be 100.07%. % RSD for repeatability was 0.0337.
