Autorenporträt
Hussein M. Naguib was born in Egypt and received B. Eng. in Metallurgy from Cairo University, and a Ph.D. degree in Materials Science from McMaster University, Ontario, Canada. Dr. Naguib has more than thirty-five years of highly diversified technical and managerial experience in the semiconductor industry. He authored over fifty technical papers and granted fourteen US and Canadian patents in this field. Since moving to North America in 1973, Dr. Naguib has been actively involved in Islamic educational and management activities. He was an Islamic school teacher in Ottawa Mosque-Ontario, Canada (1973-1982); a teacher, a management consultant, and Vice Chairman of the Board of the Islamic Center of Southern California-Los Angeles, CA (1983-1994); and one of the founding members, speaker, youth group teacher, and the Chairman of the Board of the Islamic Center of Temecula Valley -California (1996-2004). Dr. Naguib retired in 2005 and has since dedicated himself to Islamic studies with a particular emphasis on analyzing and writing about the Quranic Ten Commandments, as the ethical foundations of a Muslim community in midstream.
