Laura Perryman has ten years of experience as a designer and trend forecaster. Her ethos is that the use of color should be innovative, well-considered, and, above all, purposeful. Perryman’s work has featured in Architectural Digest, House & Garden, and Business Week. She was the recipient of a prestigious color award from the Society of Dyers and Colourists, and her innovative surface designs received the prize for Inclusive Interior: Design for Our Future Selves from CABE, the Commission for Architecture and the Built Environment. Perryman regularly lectures at universities, including the Chelsea College of Arts, University of the Arts London, and Bucks New University. She also talks internationally about the powerful impact of color, material design, and what insights and trends to look out for, most recently at Luxe Pack Shanghai, Stockholm Furniture Fair, and the London Design Festival. In the past ten years, Laura has brought this specialist knowledge into play for brands as diverse and forward-thinking as 3M, Habitat, and Panasonic Europe. Perryman currently runs Color of Saying, a consultancy that specializes in future-forward design with color and materials.
