In the conclusion of the The Ramtalans, Argus and Tai Dachel are about to face their ultimate challenge. The brothers find themselves in a world of uncertainty and danger. Struggling to cling to the fragments of normalcy, they soon realize that their destinies have changed and those they care about, including Argus's beloved Lola, are caught in the crossfire between ruthless Invaders and the relentless grip of the government agency, AURA. With new and terrifying powers surging through his veins, Argus confronts the stark reality of his uniqueness, tearing him apart from his brother and casting doubt upon the loyalty of those he once called friends. But when the inscrutable Argustine Lenox and his formidable sister Galena threaten to unleash devastation upon Earth, the Dachel brothers find themselves at a harrowing crossroads. With humanity hanging in the balance, they must decide which side they're on. Do they align themselves with the Invaders, or stand with the Settler Ramtalans? On the brink of adulthood, Argus must choose what sort of personhe wants to be; defiant, compassionate, strong, or all three. Nothing will matter though if he can't save Earth.
