Gayle Childress Greene is an author, award-winning playwright, sporadic blogger, and graduate of the Institute of Children's Literature. Her first book, "The Bug Book," was self-published when she was eleven, and the single copy was given to her younger sister as a birthday present. Ms. Greene has one husband, two dogs, three children, and four grandchildren.
