I wrote stories since I was a small child, with time I grew in the believe that they are powerful tools. They can forge peoples believes and views and by that build them as a person. In my opinion, if an author using his tales is able to give just someone a new perspective, something to think about, something that can make them grow as a person, he has already succeeded. A writers strength was never in himself, but in the people his words shape. We are slaves to our own ideas, and it is our own responsibility to ourselves to share these ideas with others before they fade into oblivion, because the things that are born in our minds just might grow up and change someone elses life. My name is Marcel Bartnik and I write, because I hope that words can help people in dire times and change them for the better.
