Autorenporträt
HENRYK MEHLBERG is Associate Professor of Philosophy in the Unviersity of Chicago. A graduate of the University of Lwow, Poland, he continued his post-doctoral studies in the philosophy of science at Freiberg, Germany and at the Sorbonne and the Collège de France. Up to 1949, he had been Associate Professor of Logic and Scientific Method at the Universities of Lodz and Wroclaw, Poland. He came to Canada in 1949 as a Fellow of the Lady Davies Foundation. He taught at the University of Toronto until 1955 and at Princeton University during the 1955-6 session. He was awarded a research grant by the Rockefeller Foundation in 1950-1. Dr. Mehlberg has already published considerably in his field, in French, German, and Polish, and for a number of years has taken part in the International Philosophical Congress.
