Autorenporträt
Mary Ann Trendle-Troxell, a 95-year-old first time author, currently lives in the Florida panhandle. Her family, including her husband, Loren Trendle, and their daughters, lived in Cuba for eight years during the 1940s and 1950s. In Cuba, she learned how to dance the Rumba, the Mambo, and other Cuban dances and still loves to dance at age 95. She has lived in many interesting places in the United States; but, she never forgets the palm trees swaying in the breeze and the sounds of the ocean outside their Cuban home. She fondly remembers the many Cuban people who so graciously welcomed her family as one of them. She has two daughters, five grandchildren, fourteen great-grandchildren, and recently was blessed with one great-great grandchild.
