Autorenporträt
Melanie Middien enjoyed writing and drawing as a little girl and shared her art with teachers to improve her grades. In college, she designed the mascot for the Kansas City Royals. She moved from Kansas to Los Angeles and worked in advertising, then on TV shows such as King of the Hill and a couple of other TV shows too humiliating to list. In her own opinion, Melanie considers herself funny after having had a glass of wine and has worked as an assistant to famous people whom others do consider funny. She has two teenage sons who find everything about her embarrassing - especially her dancing. She lives in one of the dumpiest yet happiest homes in Utopia, California, and loves visiting animal shelters, traveling across the country in an old RV, meeting new friends, and making campfire pizzas.
