Autorenporträt
Following an early career as a professional musician (cut short by the "Police Action" in Korea), Walt Kyzer entered the United States Air Force. Twenty years later he retired as a Major and began his final careers with six different companies; all in somewhat unrelated disciplines. He finally retired completely after the damaging effects of Hurricane Andrew in South Florida where he was living. After rebuilding their home, Walt and his wife Betsy, became involved in Disaster Relief work helping others who also suffered from natural disasters. This led to missionary work helping needy efforts in building churches and church related buildings. Doing this, they traveled throughout North America and in several instances, to international locations. During all of this, Walt's love has been to write his feelings and devotions. His home office is filled with fictional short stories, book length novels, devotional meditations and historical accounts. His genelogical book of his ancestors, "Down Home Caesars - American Kyzers" has been well received, although the interest has been somewhat limited mostly to Kyzer relatives. His most recent publications, "My Family Devotions" (subtitled "How God Has Spoken to Me") has received more praise.
