Amos Bertolacci, Ph.D. (2005) in Near Eastern Languages and Civilizations, Yale University, Doctorate (1998) in Philosophy, University of Florence, is currently Alexander von Humboldt fellow at the Thomas-Institut of the University of Cologne. He has published extensively on Avicenna's metaphysics and its reception in the Latin Middle Ages.
