These are trying times for blacks in the United States. But The Redemption Movement: Deliverance for Black America proclaims that we, as black people, have a tremendous opportunity before us at this point in time. It is time to seize the moment and do something great for ourselves. As an engineer and problem solver from American industry, author Wade L Jackson has made a specialty of finding simple, often-overlooked solutions to problems while keeping in mind what is necessary for the solution's implementation. And in this inspiring book, he not only proposes simple actions for a broad solution that will solve most of our problems but also emphasizes the vital importance of acting now. The Redemption Movement addresses the current state of Black America, reviews black history to show how far we've come, and lays out how we can solve and/or eliminate most of the larger problems facing Black America as a community. The solution does not require government action, demonstrations, or fundraising. It is 100 percent self-determined and not subject to the whims or approval of outsiders. With a movement that focuses on helping parents raise strong, healthy children, we can create a brighter future for every black American.
Autorenporträt
Wade L Jackson is a retired engineer and problem solver from American industry. He earned a BS in mechanical engineering from Tuskegee University in 1965, an MBA from Xavier University in 1971, and went on to become a licensed professional engineer with thirty-eight years of experience. While growing up in South Carolina during the 1950s and '60s, Wade was a keen observer of the civil rights movement, and has continued to follow the progress of Black America since then. As an analyst and problem solver, his specialty is uncovering the small, simple, often-overlooked, yet essential elements for solving problems while considering the tools-as well as the restraints-for the solution's implementation. Wade maintains that solution implementation is the most important thing that a book can offer. His book, The Redemption Movement, presents simple actions for a broad solution to most problems facing Black America.
