The aim of this piece of work is to provide answers to the primary question of why some dyslexic children can be good in mathematics and poor at number. The research developed lead us to the observation that the dyslexic child does not lack intelligence, but have some degree of difficulty in writing and reading. In addition, the general aetiology of dyslexia points to different accounts of this syndrome.
