L'autore principale della pubblicazione è Nyamweha Bruce Robin. Ha conseguito un master in acquacoltura presso l'Università di Gand in Belgio e una laurea in orticoltura con gestione e imprenditorialità presso l'Università Mountains of the Moon, in Uganda. È docente assistente di scienze presso l'Università Mountains of the Moon.
