The student-reader is often oblivious to the teaching of literature in the school environment, only playing a passive role during the study. By placing them as the protagonists of the reading action, it is possible to expose their entire understanding of the world and their experiences in relation to individual religious beliefs, which are left out of the context and debates. This research aims to place this student as the protagonist of his reading actions in order to verify the presence of these beliefs. The teacher, as a mediator in this process, can make it possible and give a voice to all the beliefs that are excluded but present in the works. Religion and beliefs have been part of literary works since forever, but they have never been treated as important in the school environment. Hence the importance of a wide-ranging debate, so that the subject can be part of debates and literary teaching.
