Autorenporträt
Randy Stewart again puts his medical and religious background to work in The Religious Journey: The Nature of God. The son of a Southern Baptist pastor, he earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in 1978 from Samford University, majoring in history and religion. He has served over fifteen years as a bivocational minister and is presently the minister of music at First Baptist Church in Arab, Alabama. A 1984 graduate of the University of Alabama School of Medicine and a diplomate of the American Board of Internal Medicine, he is currently the Director of Emergency Medicine of Marshall Health System in northeast Alabama. He and his wife, Cathy, have two daughters, Mary Catherine and Allison. Dr. Stewart's personal struggle with doubts about God and his persistent search to find the answers form the foundation of his Religious Journey series. Using his God-given gifts of simplification, analogy, and organization and his medically-engendered strengths of objectivity and problem solving, he passionately retraces his spiritual journey, hoping that what he has written will be used by God to make a difference in individual lives.
