Peter, a ten year old city boy, is going on his first fishing trip with his father, a true outdoorsman. He is beginning to enjoy himself when they notice the animals and birds are acting funny. Sharron Lee has always been surrounded by good books having read many on the classics and large sections of the library in her life time. Now in her senior years, she has the time to write in hopes it will introduce some child to the joy of reading like she has experienced in her life time. This story came to her when she was watching a show about lumberjacks and she remembered a story from her childhood about her father meeting a bear when he was a lumberjack.
