The main objective is to look at ways by which ammonia can be catalytically removed from gaseous waste streams via the selective catalytic oxidation (SCO) of ammonia to nitrogen and water. The book also looks at methods of catalysts preparations (such as impregnation, ion exchange and hydrothermal synthesis) and characterisation techniques (such as TPD, XPS, elemental analysis and nitrogen physisorption. The results of the selective catalytic oxidation of over Fe-ZSM-5 are also presented. Life time study on catalyst performance are also presented.
