MATTI KOJO is Researcher in Political Science at the University of Tampere, Finland. Kojo has been involved with research on Finnish nuclear waste management since 1997. He is editor and co-editor of three books dealing with nuclear waste and nuclear energy policies in Finland. TAPIO LITMANEN is Professor of Sociology at the University of Jyväskylä, Finland. His interests are in environmental sociology, social movement research, and science and technology studies. He has conducted several research projects on risk and technology issues in Finland. He has published widely on nuclear waste management.
