The information and communication revolution promises to be to the XXIst century what the industrial revolution was to the XIXth. This new phenomenon that propels us to the doors of the cyberworld, in a new era, whose projects of information highways, internet, multimedia, digital television or virtual reality, are the new tools of a communication and an information on a planetary scale. Information and communication technologies (ICTs) are changing societies around the world: they are improving the productivity of traditional industries, revolutionizing work methods and reshaping the flow of capital transfers by accelerating them. However, this rapid growth has also made possible new forms of crime related to the use of computer networks, called cybercrime. This book studies the repression of cybercrime in Congolese and French law.
