In the concrete "The Chemical Engineering for The Global Environment in which microbial technology is the core factor -from the molecular level to the global level-". The essential concept is "the system engineering based on actual technologies". The technology (=hardware) supported by experiments is indispensable for the actual effective countermeasures against environmental problems. But it is systematic thinking (=software) like system engineering to decide what is an important technical subject, or what is the best combination to make use of the technology developed. Thus, for our research we need both software and hardware which are closely combined with each other, in other words we proceed with both experimental research and simulation study simultaneously to tackle various environmental and waste recycling problems.
