At school she was their protector but she faces one challenge too many. Another has the most stable life of all the friends but being comfortable is not the way to fulfil her dreams. Her husband's accident forces her to re-evaluate once more. The fourth friend is an abused wife who is empowered by the kindness of friends and strangers. Completing the quintet is another whose professional life is very successful. Her private life on the other hand, with three failed marriages, is an agony to her.
