Autorenporträt
Bill Alcorn is a Native Texan who loves a good story, and if it's woven with history, all the better. When his grandchildren were young, Bill and his wife, Ruth-known as "Popcorn" and "Momcorn"-began making up stories to entertain the kids. It was through that tradition The Ride on the Butterfield Trail came to life. Bill was raised in the small north Texas town of Loving and later settled in nearby Graham, Texas, where he still lives. His favorite things are family, guns, coffee, and banana bread-not necessarily in that order.
