This book explains the alarming and developing influence from radical liberalism on political, social and spiritual matters in the US and Canada. In Canada, two political parties, Liberals and NDP, publically oppose long-existing Judeo-Christian values, norms and principles. In the US, the Far Left show similar disrespect for the same long-held values, norms and principles. The history of radical liberalism reveals the immense human suffering it has caused in the world. We may expect that today's radical liberals, in Canada and the US, are leading our long-enjoyed freedoms and democracy along a slippery slope towards a new socio-political situation, in which there are no moral absolutes. This book hopes to be helpful in seeking ways to protectand to show respect for all human beings, as has been the case for so many decades. This book hopes to reach, especially, more and more Christians who need to "wake up, stand up, and speak up." Only when they wake up and comprehend what's at stake will they be helpful in halting the advance of the Post-truth madness. Such advancement will take away our most basic freedoms as Christians and other citizens.
Autorenporträt
For twenty years, Peter worked as a Mechanical Design Engineer and Industrial Engineer (Management Operation) in the Netherlands, as well as in Canada following emigration in 1973. In 1979, transitioning from industry to ministry began with 4 years of Seminary education (M.Div.). During the next twenty-one years, he served as Pastor in churches in Northern Alberta and British Columbia, while following continuing education, resulting first of all in a Master's degree (Th.M.) in Domestic Missiology (1998) with a thesis on "A Critical Evaluation of the Theology and Viability of Sphere Sovereignty as a Missiological Theory." Then receiving a Doctoral degree (D. Min.) in Ecclesiology with a dissertation on the subject, "Blue Collar Priests: The Priesthood of All Believers Fully Restored in the Two-Dimensional Church." Since 2007, as Pastor emeritus, traveling for nine years, March-June, to Uganda for teaching assignments, first at Ugandan Christian University in Mukono, then for six years at All Saints University, Lango (ASUL) in Lira, Northern Uganda, teaching the course: LEADERSHIP: A Christian Approach and Practice. In Mukono, additional teaching on Old and New Testament, while in Northern Uganda receiving additional invitations to preach, as well as making field trips to various villages on behalf of "Partners in Hope" representing several churches in Calgary. Those villages enjoyed financial support from the churches for economic development projects with very good results. In 2018, he published his first book, "THE REAL DEAL: Making the Case for the One True God" - What this means for Radical Islam and the Global Church. With this second book, "THE RIGHT DEAL: Making the Case for a more Respectful Society" published in 2019, via emails, The OKELLO Sequel is completed. __________________________________Wayne Elford, Professor Emeritus, Faculty of Medicine, University of Calgary"I am familiar with both books , THE OKELLO SEQUEL, - - they are very scholarlycompositions, supported by exhaustive research. I think Book Two sheds a lot of light on the current political climate in North America: a) explaining factors that led to Andrew Sheer's faith based values being rejected in the marketplace, and b) Donald Trump's support by "Christians," as a reaction to the "radical liberalism" perceived to be embodied by Obama."
