The Right Kite is the first picture book by Shanti Nshanian. She has been living in Los Angeles for twenty-four years. Years ago, at the earliest opportunity, she decided to attend Glendale Community College. After graduating with a degree in Preschool Teaching and completing university transfer classes, she pursued courses in writing and illustration. Since 2007, the Society of Children's Book Writers and Illustrators (SCBWI) has been a vital source of support and advocacy for her in the field. Shanti firmly believes that picture books serve a crucial purpose in nurturing children's growth and development in various aspects of their lives. With The Right Kite, she aims to create a meaningful and engaging story that will resonate with young readers and contribute to their overall well-being.
