The book identifies congruences between the judicialisation of the right to education and sustainable development, linking the solidary advance of culture, science and technology to the expansion of personal capacities and abilities. Based on a study of the constitutional foundations on the matter, the right to human development, which is necessary to offer people the conditions to participate meaningfully in the issues surrounding that process of social and economic progress, is investigated in the possible articulations between the legal configurations of education and development.
