Sometimes you have to lose everything to find yourself. ¿¿To all the world Sasha seems to have everything. A successful career as a psychoanalyst, friends who love her, and a progressive, open relationship with local surf legend, Alex. Yael on the other hand feels trapped. Sick of her boyfriend, her obsessive thoughts, and very sick of the notion women over forty should disappear into the ether, Yael knows she needs to make some groundbreaking changes. With COVID-19 sweeping the country, everyone is on edge. The world is changing, and walls are closing in. Fissures appear in Sasha's relationship with Alex, while Yael turns to a seductive online distraction. The women's lives become enmeshed through their therapy sessions, but what will happen if even that comes crashing down around them?
Autorenporträt
Kristine / Kris / Krissie Kennedy was born and raised in Melbourne where she still lives with her thoroughly entertaining children, Noam and Albi. They share their home with a kitten (Omar Chonk) and a bearded dragon (Zilla). Kris has worked in retail, finance, law and most recently as a literacy leader in an amazing public primary school. She loves deeply and openly and is humbled to be loved by some astonishing people. Her most enduring love is of writing, and though it be a fickle beast, this love will go on. Kris' greatest hope is that others will tell the stories inside of them, regardless of whether a single person ever reads it. This is Kristine's debut novel.
