This book shows the design, manufacturing, testing, satellite operation, ground operation and image data processing of small SAR satellite. The small SAR satellite aimed at by this book is to reduce the burden on society and industry by providing compact, lightweight, low-cost small SAR satellite. Specifically, it is to develop compact size, lightweight (100 kg class) and low cost (about 1 billion yen) small satellites as compared to existing SAR satellites (large size, large mass, high price). And further, we will work with society and industry to develop image data processing technology specialized in limited mission and aim to create a new business domain.

N. Imura hat eine Karriere bei Mitsubishi Electric Corporation, Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency, Chiba University. War etwa 40 Jahre lang an der Entwicklung von Radar und Radarsatelliten mit synthetischer Apertur beteiligt und betreibt Forschung und Entwicklung von kleinen SAR-Satelliten.
