As darkness continues to spread across the land, few places of refuge remain. But are the tides of war changing? With the number of humans dwindling and the forces of evil growing, the lines between friend and foe are soon blurred as new alliances are forged. The ancient warrior, Siarl, is free and searching for the gate to Chemosh's prison. After months at sea, Adhira and his friends may have found the shadow gate, but they must now find a way to destroy it or be forced to stand between Siarl and his goal. Is Adhira ready to face the greatest swordsman there has ever been?

Autorenporträt
From his early teens, Thomas Summerlin was raised by his aunt Vivian and uncle Bernardo, who gave him a gift that changed his life forever: his first Bible. Equipped with the Word of God and surrounded by a strong group of Christians, he grew in his faith. His passion for reading fantasy was awakened after reading The NeverEnding Story as a kid. There is little Christian fantasy out there, and Thomas hopes to change that. Thomas' time in the Marines taught him the value of putting on the full armor of God. He is a husband and a father to three and writes with the hope his books will inspire the next generation to do all things through Christ who gives them strength.
