Julie Lipp is a teacher with over thirty years experience educating very young children. She currently teaches at two small country schools, where the mixed age classes make storytelling a challenge. She believes that adding humour to any story can make it engaging to a broader audience. The Rock That Coughed was originally written for her now adult children while they travelled throughout Australia in a caravan.
