This study examined the role of community education in community development projects in Ibadan North Local Government. The study adopted descriptive survey research design. The study population comprised of some communities in Ibadan North Local Government. The simple random sampling technique was used for selecting three (3) communities making a total of one hundred (100) respondents. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics of frequency and percentages for both demographic information and research questions. The findings of the study therefore revealed that community education has played vital roles in various community development projects in Ibadan North Local Government. The results showed that community education has significant impact on community development as indicated in this study. The study concluded that government and all other well-meaning people in our society should help public school with equipment, modern infrastructures and more teachers to meet up with the United Nations' educational standards, so that they can meet up with their private school counterpart.
