And went to local primary and secondary school, after national service he pursued an Advanced Diploma in Accountancy from The Institute of Finance Management(Dar), Postgraduate Diploma in Accountancy (AIA), Professional Certificate in SACCOs Management (MUCCOBS), and PhD (Microfinance) from St.Clements Uinversity.
