Motivation is a factor that is of great importance during the teaching-learning process in any school subject, but especially in the process of foreign language acquisition. For this reason, there is a large number of studies on language acquisition and learning and the importance of motivation.In this study, the relevance of motivation in the process of language acquisition is discussed, not only in terms of learners but also with teachers, who have a key role to play in order for this motivation to develop in the best possible conditions. During this study, a theoretical research it is carried out with the main objective of providing an easy understanding and clarification of terminology that may generate certain doubts, to finally carry out a guide for teachers to implement a series of good practices that with its application can get to increase the motivation of students.
