This book is primarily concerned with extending the current knowledge on the potential of microcredit schemes on empowering vulnerable group of people in the rural areas especially Women head of household by developing a conceptual model on the ROLE OF SACCOS microcredit on empowering Female Households FHHs. Based on the conceptual model this research challenges the claim that there is significant relationship between SACCOS microcredit and Women empowerment variable economic social cultural and political mediating variable culture and education influence this relationship between SACCOS microcredit and women empowerment despite the larger number of SACCOS microcredit schemes in Njombe and positive view institutions operated under democratic decision making and autonomy little reach has examined the influence of SACCOS microcredit on empowering FHHs economically Socio cultural and political. Furthermore, too little research has been made on the moderating role of education and mediating role of culture on empowering women the study adopts positivism as a research philosophy, and quantitative approach was used which allowed explanatory and descriptive design.
