This empirical study investigated the role of technical language on the translation performance. Authors have analyzed a considerable proportion of English TV series and movies and developed a unique error-based cinematic glossary of Intelligence services and security forces and examined its significance on the performance of movie translators. This study can open horizons to new generations of glossaries.
