Likewise, the hexagonal shapes can be arranged very tightly, precisely and carefully next to each other and without any vacuum, i.e. minimizing empty spaces. The hexagon consumes the least amount of raw material needed to build a floating structure, at the same time it provides the largest surface area. Hexagonal blocks Similar idea and principles than the rectangular blocks, but in this case, the shape is an hexagon. It has the advantage that is more stable against waves or tides .
