This is a systematic review, whose data were collected in the databases Latin American and Caribbean Literature on Health Sciences (LILACS) and Scientific Electronic Library Online (SCIELO), with a temporal cut performed in 2014. The nurse's performance is reflected in several aspects. The analysis of the bibliographical references allowed us to state that nurse teachers, in order to train a nurse who is able to act in all dimensions of care as a promoter of citizen, family, and community health, need pedagogical qualification.

Professore di infermieristica presso l'Università di Mogi das Cruzes. Ha esperienza nell'area dell'infermieristica, con particolare attenzione alla salute della donna, alla neonatologia e alla terapia intensiva. Ha conseguito una laurea in Infermieristica presso l'Università Braz Cubas, post-laurea in Terapia Intensiva Adulti, Neonatale, Pediatrica e Ostetrica. Master in Scienze e Tecnologie della Salute.
