This book explicates the relationship between the constant influx of political communication by television news channels and political participatory behavior of the citizens of Pakistan. It a study of the role of television news channels in the formation of public opinion in the perspective of deliberative democracy, using judicial issue as a reference, being the major issue of the time. One of the significant aspects of the study is that it does not consider media alone but also recognizes the importance of everyday interpersonal conversation as well, and examined the combined effect of media and everyday conversation on the political system.
