Aditya Arya, Ph.D. Aditya Arya is currently working as a Scientist at the National Institute of Malaria Research, a flagship lab of ICMR, where he has main responsibilities of molecular diagnostics. He has completed his PhD from the Peptide and Proteomics division of the Defence Institute of Physiology and Allied Science, New Delhi, with proteomics and nanomedicine as thrust areas. Prior to this, he completed his master's in Biochemistry from Madurai Kamaraj University with distinction Merit. He has made a vast contribution to high altitude biology, the discovery of proteomics signatures, and redox regulation in hypoxic-stress proven and recognised by 40+ research papers, 10+ book chapters and 10+ books. He holds proven expertise in proteomics, microscopy and cell-based biochemical assays including flow cytometry, protein-protein interactions, and systems biology on which he acquired training from prestigious institutions such as European Molecular Biology Laboratory, Heidelberg; Wellcome Trust Sanger Institute, Hinxton, Charte University, Berlin and many more. He has also been awarded several grants and awards from EMBL, CSIR and ICMR to present his work in more than 10 countries. His current area of research focuses on developing a panel signature of integrated omics for various environmental stresses and the use of bioinformatics and proteomics approaches to obtain consensus anticancer descriptors from dietary antioxidants. Rakesh Kaushik, Ph.D. Rakesh Kaushik presently serves as a Research Associate at the flagship laboratory of ICAR, the Central Institute for Research on Goats. Before this, he held the position of Scientist-B at ICMR-National Institute of Malaria Research in New Delhi, focusing primarily on molecular diagnostics in his key responsibilities. Dr. Kaushik earned his Doctorate in Biotechnology from GLA University, where he conducted his experimental research at the Molecular Genetics Division of ICAR-Central Institute for Research on Goats (ICAR-CIRG) in Mathura. Delving extensively into the consequences of heat stress on biochemical, DNA, and RNA aspects, he has authored over 25 research papers, in addition to more than 35 abstracts, six book chapters, and a practical handbook on the subject. Dr. Kaushik possesses extensive expertise in molecular techniques, including RT-PCR, 2-D Electrophoresis, SDS-PAGE, and molecular marker analysis. During the challenging times of the COVID-19 pandemic, Dr. Kaushik exhibited leadership by overseeing the molecular diagnostic procedures for more than 50 thousand samples while collaborating with ICMR.
