Boss Max is desperate-his precious emeralds are missing along with his beautiful wife... Trapped in the isolated area until the monsoon floods subside, Su Lin had hoped to use the time to get to know her new husband but then when Boss Max is founded murdered in a locked room with more rose apples scattered around the corpse, she and Le Froy must work together try to prevent further deaths --including theirs.

Autorenporträt
Ovidia Yu is one of Singapore's best-known and most acclaimed writers. She has had over thirty plays produced and is the author of a number of comic mysteries published in Singapore, India, Japan and America. She received a Fulbright to the University of Iowa's International Writers Program and has been a writing fellow at the National University of Singapore and was awarded the S.E.A. Write Award for Singapore.
