A mysterious island is brought into chaos when a unique presence is gone missing. Who has taken it? And why are the islanders distraught? Follow the islanders as the chaos unfolds and see if there's any hope for redemption. Will they have a saviour or are they doomed? Open the book and see what secrets the mysterious island holds and how the unique presence that was keeping them afloat truly is one in a gazillion. This Gothic thriller has all the punchiness to keep you breathless! And all the mystery to keep you on your toes. The whole world chaos of 2019's Covid situation and that year's Halloween inspired the author to portray her feelings and thoughts about the world around her within her own fictional setting and scenario. Don't be fooled into thinking it's a medical emergency themed book because it's anything but!

Autorenporträt
Juwairiyah Kashif was seven years old when she wrote this book during the October half term break of 2020 in which she had a bad case of COVID-19. She used her fear of the pandemic (combined with the Halloween movies she was watching that week) as inspiration for her own written work. Juwairiyah would like to thank Mrs Lightowler from Pinders Primary for being an amazing teacher anyone could ask for. She'd also like to thank her Aunt Sumi for being the 'Rose' in her life. Nowadays, Juwairiyah lives in Wakefield and enjoys hours and hours of reading, baking numerous different kinds of desserts and traveling the world! She hopes that she can inspire other children to take an interest in reading and writing like her by becoming published authors too. Thank you to the reader for picking up my book and giving it a read, and a big thank you to Austin Macauley publishers for giving me such an amazing opportunity and trusting my work.
