He is Professor of Place Management at Manchester Metropolitan University, UK, and Director of the Institute of Place Management. Uma Kothari is Professor of Migration and Postcolonial Studies, University of Manchester, UK, and Professor of Human Geography, University of Melbourne, Australia.
