The implementation of public policies for professional qualification in Brazil since 1990 aimed at training professionals from different areas, including actions directed to the rural area. However, despite this direction, its implementation has proven to be insufficient, and most actions are directed to the urban area. However, the majority of rural workers do not have the necessary qualification to meet the new market trends. The development of Public Policies of Rural Professional Qualification allows the worker to be prepared to meet the new productive demands.
