Ira David Wood III is an award-winning actor, director, and author. He is the founder of Theatre In The Park in Raleigh, NC. His musical-comedy stage adaptation of A Christmas Carol by Charles Dickens has been cited as "one of the most successful shows in North Carolina theatre history." His published works include A Lover's Guide To The Outer Banks, Confessions Of An Elf, Finale, The JFK Assassination Chronology, and The Russian Galatea. The father of three children-Ira David Wood IV, Evan Rachel Wood, and Thomas Miller Wood-David and his wife, Ashley, remain proud to call North Carolina "home."
