John Anthony McGuckin is the Nielsen Professor of Early Church History at Union Theological Seminary, and Professor of Byzantine Christian Studies at Columbia University in New York. An Arch-priest of the Romanian Orthodox Church,he is one of the world's leading interpreters of Early Christian Studies and Orthodox Church culture.
